2010 was cool year and damp growing season. 2009 was a near perfect growing season with sufficient heat to ripen our grapes delivering the perfect balance sugars and acid. Our winery practice of 3-day cold-soaking ensured a deep ruby red color. 18 months of ageing in French Oak barrels allowed the wine to develop notes of black cherry, pepper and strawberry.
